Alsadhan Trading & Spar: Towards a More Cooperative Workflow

Alsadhan Trading & Spar aimed for a rapid migration of its email data
and collaboration platform to Google Workspace. To get there,
iSolutions helped in project initialization and configuration in addition to
users provisioning and management.

The challenge

Alsadhan’s major issue was security and data backups. IT had to
waste time exporting data from the exchange server to a local drive.
They also had to make separate investments in security systems, from
firewalls and inbox security to an on-premises cybersecurity team.
They sought a simple and secure solution to replace the existing
setup, which would also improve communication and collaboration.

The solution

iSolutions offered Alsadhan Trading & Spar Google Workspace to
replace the existing Exchange. On the other hand, we did the
migration into multiple batches based on departments and domains
level, because the migration tool will consume from the bandwidth of
the server and to avoid any disturbance for users. Finally we ensured
to have the change management sessions running in parallel.

The result

The migration to Google Workspace was seamless and efficient, and
has been a valuable asset to the company. Google Workspace has
improved SPAR’s security, productivity, and collaboration in a number
of ways. In addition, end user training sessions was delivered for all
the employees during the migration, in order to ensure that users are
not facing any challenges while moving to Google Workspace
